What data we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form:

We do not use any analytics tracking scripts or cookies on this website. Our hosting provider (AWS CloudFront) generates standard server access logs that record technical information about requests, including IP addresses, pages requested, and browser type. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and understanding aggregate traffic patterns. They do not contain personal identifiers beyond IP address.

How we use your data

We use the data you provide exclusively to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Discuss potential project work you have contacted us about

We do not use your data for marketing, newsletters, or any purpose other than responding to your direct request. We will never sell or share your data with third parties.

How we process your data

When you submit the contact form, your information is sent via AWS API Gateway to an AWS Lambda function, which delivers it to our team via Amazon SES email. The data is not stored in a database. It exists only as an email in our inbox.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, our legal basis for processing your contact form data is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — you contact us expecting a reply, and we process your data to provide that reply.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained as emails for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and any subsequent business discussion. We do not maintain a separate database of submissions. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, email delivery (SES), and contact form processing (Lambda, API Gateway). Data is processed in the EU (eu-west-1 region).
• CloudFront (AWS) — content delivery network for serving the website globally. Standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser type, timestamp) are retained for traffic analysis and security monitoring.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use any third-party analytics scripts. No consent banner is required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Objection — object to our processing of your data
